The site's founder, CEO Michael Sawtell, started the project after recognizing that many extended families today are spread out across the nation, sometimes even the world, and that any media that helps them keep in touch with each other would be highly valued. The Family Post is dedicated to offering affordable websites for families, ranging from $5.95 to $15.95 per month, depending on design, features and storage space. The site offers a free two-week trial. Templates are provided to make construction easy. Stylish and easy to navigate, the site lives up to its motto: "Connecting families online."
